Optical Metrology Lab, Jeonbuk National University
Led by Prof. Daesuk Kim, the Optical Metrology Lab has worked on the measurement-speed problem in spectroscopic ellipsometry since 2014. The group developed a monolithic polarizing interferometer that obtains polarization information from a single spectrum acquisition without any rotating part, and holds patents on it in Korea, the United States and Europe.

Manufacturing
Cubo is manufactured by Korea Spectral Products (KSP), which licensed the lab's dynamic spectroscopic ellipsometry technology. KSP has a track record of developing and producing spectrometers.
